The Monastery at Forest Lake is dedicated to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personally identifiable information. Our main purpose in collecting your personal information is to provide you with a streamlined experience in making reservations at The Monastery at Forest Lake. We only collect information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this. The Monastery at Forest Lake takes security seriously. When users make a reservation, we use every precaution to safe guard it online and offline.
The Monastery at Forest Lake may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time in order to meet changes in the regulatory environment, business needs, or to satisfy the needs of our guests, properties, strategic marketing partners, and service providers
PHOTOGRAPHERS
The Monastery at Forest Lake welcomes photographers BY APPOINTMENT for the following type of outdoor only shoots: Engagement, Wedding, Senior Pics, Couples and Nature - We ask for approval to share those photos for promotion purposes, and to be tagged in social media/online postings, verses charging a fee as most other venues. Let's help each other!
For liability purposes, we will remain on site while photos are being taken, any photographers attempting shoots outside of these guidelines, will be asked to leave the property, without the option to return. We are strict on the photo representation of our business, and the customers we serve. We thank you in advance for respecting this policy. Call to schedule.
– CHECK IN TIME: 3PM -6PM - If the Guest(s) haven't contacted us or arrived by 7PM, that will be considered a no-show cancellation and the cancellation fee will apply. Regardless of special circumstances, we aren't able to approve a check-in past 9:00pm do to the disruption to other guests. ~ With limited staff, early arrival check-in's aren't often available.
– CHECK OUT TIME: 10:30AM ~ A $50 late check-in/check-out fee will apply as applicable.
– A home cooked breakfast is served at 9:30 AM.
– Rooms are single or double occupancy only.
– The Monastery B&B area cannot accommodate children, It is an adult only space for the overnight guests. Children are certainly permitted at Chapel Events, but do need constant supervision due to the Historic Lakefront property. Children and/or non B&B guests are limited to the Chapel Venue Area only for events.
– We are not able to accommodate pets.
– We are a non-smoking Oklahoma City B&B .Guests who smoke may do so outdoors in designated areas only. A minimum $250.00 cleaning fee will be charged if a guest smokes anywhere indoors,
– Gift Certificate sales are final, non-refundable and must be used within 6 months.
– We do not charge based on number of occupants, all rates are on a per room basis. 2 Guest Maximum Occupancy per room.
Important Factor: Based on the age of the construction, several stone steps, bi-level property, and the size of the living quarters, the B&B Area isn't ideal for those needing Handicap Accessibility. Adjustments can be made, but there are many steps, and some distance involved to the rooms which is currently unavoidable at present.
– To confirm your reservation a deposit amount equal to the first night’s room rate or 50% of the entire stay’s rate is due when your reservation is made. We accept cash, traveler’s checks, and all credit cards.
– With 5 or more days notice prior to the reservation date the deposit is refunded in full.
– If you must cancel less than 5 days prior to the reservation date, the full amount for all nights and prepaid package items will be charged. If the room nights are re-booked, a gift certificate for a future stay will be given. No refund for early departures. Unlike a large hotel, The Monastery at Forest Lake only has 5 rooms. Cancellations have a great impact. When your reservation is confirmed, all other requests for that suite are turned away.
– A Special Cancellation Policy exists for groups or individuals reserving more than two rooms for any given date. This policy basically extends the cancellation notification period from 5 days to 15 days.
All Event Policy Details are defined within a contract that will be discussed at Booking.

SHOWERS/REHEARSAL DINNERS/MEETINGS:
Weekends Available Only if scheduled within 45 Days of the Event Date
Up to 30 Guests $599 (plus tax & $250 security deposit)
Up to 60 Guests $749 (plus tax & $250 security deposit)
A $300.00 non-refundable deposit must be paid at time of booking to hold the date. The balance is due 30 days prior to your event date.
Guest Elopement – Up to 10 Guests $950 (plus tax and $250 security deposit)
**There will be a $49 fee (plus tax) applied to each additional guest over the package selection**
Weekends Available Only if scheduled within 45 Days of the Event Date
A $300.00 non-refundable deposit must be paid at time of booking to hold the date. The balance is due 30 days prior to your event date
Wedding Packages: A Family Affair
Up to 30 Total Guests $2,400 (Plus tax & $500 security deposit)
Up to 60 Total Guests $3,700 (Plus tax & $500 security deposit)
**There will be a $49 fee (plus tax) applied to each additional guest over the package selection**
A $750 or $1,000 non-refundable deposit (based on package) must be paid at time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to your wedding date. Weddings booked less than 60 days prior to the wedding date must be paid in full at time of booking. If the balance is not paid by the due date, your reservation will be cancelled and the date will be reopened for booking.
ALL EVENTS: Refunds are not provided for event cancellations. However, we will offer ONE reschedule within 6 months of the original date for an equivalent or upgraded package.
